VAEG
Visual Arts Experimental Garden
2021- Ongoing
VAEG is an ongoing collaborative endeavor located in front of Comstock Art Facility at Syracuse University. Our goal is to create new opportunities for engaging, learning, resting, building community, and everything in between, adjacent to and in some ways opposing traditional studio facilities, education structures, and university models of dis-entanglement. Current and former members caring for and curating the space include: Zherong Hu, Fatemeh Kazemi, Oksana Kazmina, Xuan Liu, Brady McDougall, Rumpelstiltskin Morgan, Danielle Page, Zelikha Shoja, Angelica Starcovic, and Declan Yert. Additionally, collaborators include canine companions, plants, fauna, and infinite other members of this ecology.
